That you need to sacrifice a lot, that you need to meditate for 3 hours, and do all those things that you just don't have that many hours in a day?
I compiled a few tips for what I call "The Lazy Girl Guide to Manifestation". And yes, this will work if you are a men or non-binary ;)
This series started on TikTok - I'll link the videos in each segment.
If you've been online for the past few years, you might have heard a lot about the manifestation. For some, this might sound pretty woo-woo.
When we define common used words, it is easier to remove all the bias that we have and really understand what it means:
Manifestation definition: an event, action, or object that clearly shows or embodies something, especially a theory or an abstract idea; the action or fact of showing an abstract idea.
With this definition, I tend to use goal setting and manifestation interchangeably as both mean bringing an idea to reality.
What you believe to be true will, inevitably, be true - this has everything to do with how our brain works - but this is another story.
I’ve been studying manifestation, mindset and spirituality for the last 20 years, and I noticed a few myths that must be busted before you can manifest with ease:
Manifestation is “wishful thinking”: Manifestation is more than wishful thinking. There are a few things that you need to do to manifest a new life, this includes releasing limiting beliefs and implementing new ones.
Manifestation only works for certain types of people, the “selected few”: This could not be further than the truth - manifestation can work for everyone, as long as 1) you believe to be possible, 2) you take intentional action. The Universe/God/Spirit is abundant
Manifestation is the same as “positive thinking”: In reality, manifestation is about using all our feelings to get us closer to what we desire. Sometimes, anger can be fuel. Envy can show what we really want. Manifestation relies in being on the same frequency of what you desire, but you’re still human and have the permission to feel all your feelings.
Manifestation works instantly: It takes some time for things to come to this 3D plane. Ask, trust, and it’ll be yours.
Manifestation takes too much time: It does not takes too much time - it takes the right amount of time.
If you follow certain “protocols” manifestation will work: This couldn’t be further from the truth. There are so many nuances: your mindset, what you believe to be true about yourself and the world around you. All in all, there is not a one size fits all solution to manifestation.
Manifestation goes against religion: This is so untrue - manifestation is like having your prayer answered.
Manifestation is selfish: Absolutely not - there is nothing selfish about wanting a better life for yourself, or even wanting more material things. The universe is abundant and wanting more for yourself does not requires for others to have less.
Now that we have debunked a few myths, let's get to the guide
I've seen so many people unable to manifest bigger and better goals simply because they were to attached to a "protocol" that someone told them to be the key to manifestation.
There are certain things that you need to know, and the how is whatever feels good to you.
Cast a Vision: you need to be crystal clear and as detailed oriented as to what you desire. Here is important for you to really tune into what you want, not what you're expected or you think you should want.
Believe: you must believe not only that what you desire is possible, but that it's possible to you.
Discipline: you must have the discipline to take the aligned actions every single day.
A lot of my clients, when we start creating their next level self self-concept blueprint, get a little tied with with "how much time this will all take in a day". The reality is: you can implement a lot of the aligned actions and intentionality with your current routine. Most of the "new things" are not going to be more than 1 hours a day.
You can purchase them, or create your own [watch the video below to learn how to create your own subliminal message audio].
I LOVE working with subliminal messages because you literally can listen to them while going on about your life or even on your sleep.
Those messages bypass your conscious mind, which allow you to start shifting beliefs at an unconscious level. Without that rationalization or judgment of the conscious mind.
Personally, I like creating my own so I know exactly what is being imprinted in my brain. The main thing that you want to do is: make sure all affirmations you are reading are "positive suggestions". For example, instead of saying "I don't want to eat candy after dinner" you can say something like "I love eating healthy foods and I feel satisfied after every healthy and nutritious meal". The unconscious mind does not read negatives, so "I don't want to eat candy" becomes "I want to eat candy"
Here is the process that I go through:
Decide the "theme" of the message: abundance, healing, health, wealth, relationships - whatever that is, I like having a subliminal for each theme for consistency and coherency.
Write down your affirmations: outline the affirmations, make sure they feel good and are all positive suggestions.
Record the affirmations: I like using Audacity this step and all after - but you can choose any method of recording. For subliminal messages, you can sound a bit robotic. Some people like to have AI reading their affirmations to remove emotion. Do whatever floats your boat.
Speed the recording: You want to change the speed of the affirmations until you sound a bit like a chipmunk.
Lower the volume: You want the volume to be so low that you can hardly hear the audio.
Optional: Add a track: I like adding meditation tracks to my subliminal, especially if it's a sleep track.
This is one will require some time out of your day, but not that much.
Once you have a clear vision, a clear goal, the invitation here is 2 fold:
every morning, for 5 to 20 minutes, visualize your already have achieved your goal. Sink into the feelings, the beliefs and the behaviors that the version of you who already live a life where your goal is manifested. Bring that feeling to your daily life.
before you go to sleep, for 5 to 20 minutes, think about 3-5 things you are grateful for that day, and make a list of things that you want to get accomplished on the next day - asking the Universe/God/Source to guide you and support you in accomplishing them
If you are a snoozer, you can do this visualization in between snoozes ;)
One of my favorites - this adds zero additional time to your days. It's just about being intentional when you are going about life. For example, you have repeat the Hopopono affirmations while moisturizing your body, or you can have the intention of receiving the best of nutrition when eating your dinner.
With those simple steps, you can release the pressure of hours of meditation, of having to do certain things in a certain way, and simply add the steps, or protocols, that fit your lifestyle.
