The Wealthy CEO Lab® Podcast: Season 1, Episode 1
Most people are waiting to feel like a CEO before they act like one. But the shift works in the other direction.
There’s a moment — and maybe you’ve felt it, or maybe you’re waiting for it — where something clicks and you stop operating like someone hoping their business works out and start moving like the leader you know you’re meant to be.
That moment isn’t a revenue milestone. It isn’t hitting a follower count or landing a certain client. It’s a decision. A shift in how you see yourself and, by extension, how you show up for everything.
That’s what this podcast is about. And this first episode is where we start.
What The Wealthy CEO Lab actually is
The Wealthy CEO Lab is a holistic approach to business and financial success rooted in self-mastery, alignment, and abundance. It blends mindset, energetics, and strategy — because no one of these works without the others.
This isn’t just a framework for building a more profitable business. It’s an invitation to become the CEO not only of your business, but of your life.
And it starts with a very specific shift.
From business owner to CEO: the identity shift
There’s a real difference between thinking of yourself as a business owner and thinking of yourself as a CEO — and it shows up in everything from how you price to how you make decisions to what you’re willing to tolerate.
Business owners often operate from the hustle: working in the business, reacting to what comes up, waiting to feel ready before they move. CEOs think and move differently. They make decisions from confidence, not fear. They prioritize profitability over busyness. They set boundaries and protect their energy. They trust that wealth flows when strategy and purpose are aligned.
And here’s the thing: this has nothing to do with team size or corporate structure. You can be a solo founder and fully inhabit your CEO identity. What changes isn’t your org chart. It’s how you show up. You take ownership. You stop waiting for permission. You start believing that success isn’t something you chase — it’s something you create by becoming the person who can hold it.

“But if I focus on money, will I lose the heart of my business?”
This is the question I hear more than almost any other — especially from coaches, creatives, and service providers who came to entrepreneurship because they genuinely love what they do and want to help people.
The fear underneath it is real: what if building a profitable business means compromising who I am?
Here’s the reframe I come back to again and again: money is energy. It amplifies who you already are. If you value integrity, freedom, and impact, then making more money simply gives you more resources to live and lead in alignment with those values.
Being profitable doesn’t take away your authenticity. It protects it.
Think about what financial security actually makes possible: working only with clients who are truly aligned, investing in your own growth so you can keep leading from a place of knowledge, giving back in ways that matter to you, building a team and paying them well. Profitability is what makes the work sustainable. It’s not the opposite of service — it’s what lets you keep showing up at your best.

How to actually embody your wealthy CEO self
Here’s the approach I use personally and with clients — five things that make the identity shift real rather than aspirational.
1. Identity work first. Before strategy, before offers, before content — what do I currently believe to be true about myself? What does the next level version of me believe? The gap between those two things is where the work lives. I journal, I do affirmations, I visualize — but most importantly, I act as if I’m already that person. Every decision, I ask: how would my wealthy CEO self handle this?
2. Aligned strategy over cookie-cutter tactics. Early on I followed a lot of “proven” business frameworks that weren’t built for me. I was creating a job, not a business — and replicating the same burnout cycle I’d left behind. Now, every strategy decision runs through the same filter: does this work for my values, my vision, my strengths, and the way my energy actually flows? The best system is the one you’ll actually use.
3. Energetic alignment — and knowing the difference between force and resistance. Your energy is your most valuable business asset. If something feels forced, that’s a signal to pause and realign. But — and this is important — resistance is not the same thing as force. We will always feel some resistance when we’re changing, when we’re growing, when we’re doing something outside our comfort zone. That’s not misalignment. That’s the threshold. The skill is learning to tell the difference.
4. A profitability mindset. I make investment decisions from abundance, not scarcity. I price based on what I call my minimum viable price — the number that accounts for the transformation I deliver, the resources it takes to deliver it, and my own profitability. Profit isn’t a bonus. It’s the foundation. Ask yourself: am I making this investment because it genuinely excites me and will support my growth? Or because I’m afraid, following a trend, or procrastinating on what I actually need to do?
5. Take action before you’re ready. The biggest shifts in my business have come from deciding to move before I had all the answers. CEOs take bold action. They trust the vision. They trust the small daily tasks. They trust that the answers will appear when the time is right. Waiting for perfect conditions is not a strategy. It’s a delay.
Your takeaway from this episode
If you’re going to take one thing from this episode, let it be this: stop waiting to feel like a CEO before you act like one. The feeling follows the decision, not the other way around.
Start asking yourself: how would my wealthy CEO self handle this situation? What would they do today? What are the three non-negotiables they move from? And then — do that. Not next week. Today.
That’s it. That’s the episode. I’d love to hear how this landed — come find me on Instagram at @GigiBier and let me know. And if you found this valuable, subscribing and leaving a review helps this podcast reach more entrepreneurs who are ready to step into their CEO era.
